ABOUT ME

Since a tender age, Lorena has been passionate about the arts and its different forms of expressions. Growing up in the sunny island of Puerto Rico you could find her drawing or choreographing dances with her siblings. As she grew up, she pursued many outlets to express her passion for creativity. As her parents migrated to the United States, she began dance studies in ballroom dancing and participated in a local beauty pageant. It was then she discovered her love for makeup artistry, she saw how makeup opened up a world to uniquely express and enhance ones beauty or the ability to completely transform yourself into character. This form of art not only allowed her to express creatively but also gave her the opportunity to connect with other individuals in a deeper level. She began her Makeup Certification training in Boca Beauty Academy in Boca Raton Florida and graduated in 2007.

Lorena has over ten years of experience and has specialized in bridal work. She has had the opportunity to work along many brides during their special days and really prides herself on the connections and relationships she has had the opportunity to build through this art. She has also worked along local beauty pageants, photoshoots, special events, Body Painting and Fantasy Makeup.

Lorena has kept active in her passion for learning and continuing education in the beauty industry by attending MAC PRO makeup classes and other workshops.

She is now living in South Florida and decided to take her passion for beauty and teaching to the next level by offering her knowledge and expertise as a Makeup Artist. Lorena specializes on simple and elegant transformations, helping women tap into their inner unique beauty and bring out the best version of their natural complexions. She sees beauty in every detail. Even though beauty to others may seem superficial, she believes that beauty is deeper than just an outer appearance. Beauty is portrayed in your character as person and how you express that and bring light to others. When Lorena is not creating looks on her clients, you can find her painting, doing calligraphy or dancing flamenco! She also serves in a women’s ministry where she travels in missions to empower women in impoverished areas across the world.
